We provide everything you need for a comfortable and convenient boating experience:
4 ½ to 6-foot water depth in the slip area, with an even deeper channel (soft muddy bottom).

Each slip features a 30-foot pier, measures roughly 15 feet wide, and includes both water and electricity.

Campsites and a 5th Wheel short-term rental are available for your guests or weekend stays.

We utilize a state-of-the-art, 24-hour video surveillance system. Our cameras are equipped with smart motion-tracking technology that automatically activates and records whenever a vessel passes by, enters, or leaves the marina.

Marina Rules & Regulations
To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all our tenants and neighbors on North Creek, all tenants and guests must abide by the following marina policies.
Docking & Vessel Maintenance
- Docking: Vessels must be secured using adequate nylon, Dacron, or manila lines. A minimum 12-inch clearance on the port/starboard sides and a 24-inch clearance from the inboard end of the hull to the dock must be maintained. No extensions (bowsprits, anchors, davits) may overhang the dock.
- Condition & Registration: Only pleasure vessels in seaworthy condition are permitted. All vessels must have current NC State or Federal registration and an operating automatic bilge pump. Keys must be provided to management for emergency relocation.
- Maintenance: Minor maintenance is allowed if it does not create noise or debris. Welding and spray painting are prohibited; sanding requires vacuum dust capture.
- Insurance: Tenants must maintain a minimum of $300,000 per occurrence watercraft liability and property damage insurance.
- Storage & Alterations: All supplies must be kept on the boat or in an approved dock box. Docks must remain clear of trash. Do not attach any equipment (cleats, lifts, rollers) without prior marina approval.
Safety & Environment
- No Wake Zone: All vessels must operate at idle/no-wake speed when approaching or leaving the marina.
- Fire Safety: Charcoal grills, gas grills, fire pits, and open flames are strictly prohibited on or around the docks. Shore power cords must be marine-grade and UL-listed. Unattended, propane, or kerosene space heaters are banned.
- Sewage & Trash: Potter's Marine Inc. is a closed-head marina. No sewage discharge into the water is permitted. Please use the sanitary pump-out system provided. Dispose of all garbage in the marina receptacles next to the bathhouse.
- Fish Cleaning: Cleaning fish on marina premises (docks, walkways, parking lots, grass) is strictly prohibited.
- Water Activities: Swimming, fishing, and diving from the docks are not allowed.
Marina Etiquette
- Noise & Quiet Hours: Sound carries over water. Please be a good neighbor. "Quiet hours" are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, seven days a week.
- Facilities: The bathhouse is for the exclusive use of tenants and guests. Please leave it clean. Smoking and pets are prohibited in all indoor marina facilities.
- Pets: Dogs must be leashed and controlled at all times. Pet waste must be bagged and disposed of properly.
- Liveaboards & Parking: Liveaboards are not permitted (maximum 14-day stay on your boat). Parking is limited to 2 vehicles per slip. Do not block docks or the boat ramp.
